LinkedIn provides the ability to download a candidate's profile as a PDF. You can then upload this profile as a resume when creating a new candidate or opportunity in Lever. Using these functionalities together can help save you time when sourcing candidates.

As of February 28 2022, LinkedIn introduced a new limit whereby users can export a maximum of 200 profiles per month. Those with a LinkedIn Recruiter seat can export a maximum of 400 profiles under this new limit.

Uploading a LinkedIn profile as a resume in Lever

When adding a candidate or creating a new opportunity for a candidate that already exists in your LeverTRM environment, you can attach their exported LinkedIn profile as a resume. The information on the exported profile will populate in the corresponding fields on the candidate and opportunity profile in Lever, just as they would if you had attached a resume.

Uploading a LinkedIn profile for a manually added candidate

If you are creating a new candidate or opportunity manually, simply drag-and-drop the exported LinkedIn profile into the profile editor in Lever. Alternatively, click the + Add resume button and select the file from your device.

Uploading a LinkedIn profile when submitting a referral

When submitting a referral, you can attach a candidate's exported LinkedIn profile the same way that you would a resume. Simply click the Attach Resume button at the top of the referral form and select the exported profile from your device.

Uploading a LinkedIn profile via the Chrome extension

If you are using Lever's Chrome extension when sourcing candidates on LinkedIn, simply open the extension and drag in the exported LinkedIn profile.
